Satsuki Chigusa
Born in Kokura, Fukuoka in 1953. Satsuki organizes experimaental Japanese tea ceremonies throughout the world, such as Paris, New Yourk, and Rome. Looking for the beauty of the kehai ― a sign or hint of something in the air ― in the 400-year –old tradition of Japanese tea ceremonies. Her most recent “tea ceremonies extraodinaire” include the performance at Nuit Blanche Kyoto 2014. She lives in Tokyo with her husband and 11- year-old flat-coated retriever Luko.
